The role:

Aiming to support national financial institutions and within the context of its European Network, PwC established the Financial Services Risk & Regulation department in January 2015. This department is fully focused on risk and regulation areas, covering a wide range of topics such as strategic risk management, governance and internal organization, management frameworks, advanced risk quantification models (credit, interest rate, liquidity, ESG, etc.), business innovation and transformation, as well as the design of recovery and resolution plans for banking institutions.

PwC’s Financial Services Risk & Regulation department shall provide you with the opportunity to embrace technically challenging projects, within the banking industry, allowing you to develop business solutions targeted at a better organization, measurement and monitoring of the main risks and challenges faced by Banks.

Who are we looking for?

A Consultant or Senior Consultant with knowledge on the banking business (from internal organization to banking products) and financial instruments, with availability to work on a dynamic environment, where the client’s needs drive our project approach.

Responsibilities:

• Mentoring and guiding junior team members
• Building and maintaining meaningful client relationships
• Utilize knowledge of regulatory requirements and governance
• Navigating complex situations to deliver quality work
• Developing a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing
• Understanding complex issues and present them in a clear, concise, and appropriate manner
• Upholding professional and technical standards

What we value the most?

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the financial sector (banking, supervisory or consulting/ audit)
• Basic data analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
• Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
