ENBW IT SOLUTIONS, UNIPESSOAL LDA, a wholly owned subsidiary of EnBW, operates as an integral part of EnBW's IT division. In Lisbon, we bring together experts in IT, administration, project management and HR to collaborate in an agile, international environment and create smart, scalable solutions.

Your tasks

• Design and develop solution architectures across a range of technologies, taking ownership of solution design decisions within your scope, with a focus on scalable, secure, and maintainable systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and enterprise architects to ensure alignment with architectural standards and technical guidelines
• Support the implementation of architectural concepts across multiple IT units, ensuring consistency with company-wide principles
• Coordinate the provisioning and integration of system components to enable successful implementation of IT solutions
• Provide consulting and guidance to both IT and business units on architectural and security-related topics
• Evaluate and incorporate modern technologies and trends (e.g. cloud platforms, generative AI) into solution designs where appropriate

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field - or equivalent professional experience
• Solid experience in designing and implementing IT solutions in cloud and enterprise environments, with a focus on Azure (and preferrably an understanding of SAP)
• Good understanding of architecture principles and methods (e.g. solution architecture, system design) as well as agile ways of working
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and coordinating technical solutions in agile environments
• Interest in modern technologies and trends (e.g. cloud platforms, generative AI) and motivation to stay up to date
• Understanding of business processes, ideally with exposure to the energy sector
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an international environment
• Excellent English skills at B2 level or higher; Portuguese and/or German is a plus

About the department

We see ourselves as the IT backbone of the energy transition. By leveraging modern technologies, we ensure stability and direction even in times of rapid change. To continue on this path, we constantly explore new approaches and solutions.

Our focus is on the digitalization of processes related to the expansion and operation of electricity and gas networks. By doing so, we create end-to-end transparency across our grid infrastructure and enable more efficient operations as well as forward-looking network planning.

As part of this mission, we are strengthening our team and are looking for a Solution Architect who can design and guide modern, scalable, and secure solutions across our IT landscape. You will consult and support internal and external stakeholders in solving complex challenges by leveraging modern technologies, including cloud platforms and emerging approaches such as generative AI.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help shape and refine applications and system landscapes that are robust, efficient, and aligned with our architectural standards.
