Marketing Lead (m/f/d)

About Stratio

Stratio keeps public transport running. We monitor fleet health in real time and tell the world's largest operators exactly what's going to fail before it does. We're a small, technical team of about 50 people. There's no marketing department. You'd be building it.

The role

Our go-to-market runs on industry events. You own them end to end, and the content, the website and the automation around them. This is a hands-on, one-person marketing function. No team to manage. You’ll brief a stand builder, a film crew, a designer or a PR freelancer when the work calls for them, and do everything else yourself. You do the work. You own the output. You use every tool available - especially LLMs and automation - to do the work of an entire department. You’ll report directly to leadership and work closely with sales and product. If you've ever been the only marketing person at a company and thrived, this is for you.

What your weeks look like

Events and speaking

Events are a major focus of this role. You run the event calendar: the shows where we exhibit, the conferences where we speak, and our own customer roundtables, on-site events at client sites and client advisory board. For each stand: the booking, the design, the build contract, logistics, staffing, the run of show and the debrief. For each talk: the abstract, the co-speaker, the deadline, the deck, the rehearsal. After every event you report meetings held against meetings booked, deals generated and deals impacted, and you follow up with the leads generated in cooperation with our sales team to ensure event leads become opportunities in our pipeline.

Content creation

You write and publish case studies, blog posts, landing pages, LinkedIn posts, one-pagers, and sales enablement materials. You produce our benchmark report with engineering, the abstracts and decks for our speakers, and the trade-press pushes around them. You take raw inputs - a customer success metric, a product update, a conversation with a customer - and turn them into compelling stories. You use LLMs daily to draft, iterate, and repurpose content across formats and channels. You move fast without sacrificing quality.

Website ownership

You manage and update the website. New pages, copy changes, landing pages for campaigns, event pages and meeting-booking pages. You’re comfortable in a CMS. You don’t file a ticket to change a headline, you just do it. You optimize for both traditional SEO and LLM discoverability, making sure that when someone asks “what’s the best predictive maintenance product,” Stratio shows up in the answer.

Campaigns and demand generation

You plan and execute campaigns to build our pipeline. They’re designed around the event calendar: the outreach that fills the meeting schedule before each show and the follow-up after it, webinars between events, LinkedIn content, paid only to named accounts, co-marketing with partners. You draw up the account list for each event with sales, run the outreach and fill the calendar. You set up tracking, measure what works, and kill what doesn’t. You think in terms of pipeline contribution.

Sales enablement

You build the materials that help the sales team close. Pitch decks, case studies, proposal templates. You sit close to sales conversations and notice when the same objection keeps coming up, then you build something to handle it.

Analytics and reporting

You set up and maintain marketing analytics. Per event: meetings held against booked, deals generated, deals impacted, what the
