We are currently looking for: Java Back End – Junior

Requirements:

We are currently looking for a Java Back End – Junior to join a challenging project, contributing to the development and enhancement of scalable, high-performing software solutions using modern frameworks and Agile practices.

Required Competencies:

• Strong/expert proficiency in Java Spring
• Experience developing and enhancing backend software components
• Ability to execute development tasks independently while applying development best practices and standards
• Ability to identify and resolve technical challenges by analysing recurring patterns and proposing effective solutions
• Experience collaborating with team members to continuously improve software components and development processes
• Active participation in Sprint Planning and Review sessions
• Ability to contribute to team discussions and provide solutions to development-related challenges
• Knowledge-sharing mindset to support team goals and collective technical expertise
• Knowledge of modern software development and Agile practices
• English – minimum C1
• Availability to work 3 days per week at the office in Lisbon

• Microservices Architecture
• Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS)
• Docker
• Kubernetes Architecture
• MongoDB
• MySQL

Location: Lisbon – Hybrid

Work Model: 3 days per week at the office

Salary Range: €1.500–€1.900 gross/month

Note: Includes all components: Fixed, Variable, Meal Allowance, Remote Work, and Benefits.
