Finance Manager (Financial Control)

What you'll be doing

• Preparing, reviewing, and analysing daily and monthly net asset value (NAV) calculations for UCITS and AIF structures
• Reconciling cash balances, portfolio positions, and trades between internal systems, prime brokers, depositaries, and third-party fund administrators
• Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Supporting the year-end audit process by preparing working papers, addressing queries, and liaising directly with external auditors
• Monitoring fund expenses, managing the payment process, and ensuring accurate fee accruals and calculations
• Collaborating across internal functions (Operations, Compliance, Portfolio Management) to resolve trade exceptions, pricing issues, and ensure seamless fund operations

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience in an fund accounting, fund administration, or audit role within the asset management industry
• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA)
• Expertise in fund accounting, finance, and operations across popular European fund structures (UCITS or AIF)
• Knowledge of investment funds domiciled in Luxembourg or Ireland
• Expertise with management and financial oversight of third-party fund administrators and depositaries
• An academic background from a top school

Nice to have

• A solid understanding of illiquid asset valuation methodologies, cap tables, accounting methodologies, and cash management
• Experience implementing or managing API integrations between fund administrators and internal ledgers
• A degree in STEM, business, or finance

Compensation range

• Krakow: PLN17,500 - PLN25,500 gross monthly*
• Poland: PLN17,500 - PLN25,500 gross monthly*
• Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process
• *Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
