Deals Tax Manager

The Deals Tax team supports clients throughout the entire transaction lifecycle by developing and implementing value-added solutions. Whatever the nature of the transaction — acquisition, disposal, merger, IPO, public-to-private transaction, corporate restructuring or debt refinancing — we seek to identify tax risks and opportunities at an early stage and maximize the associated cash flows.

We are looking for a Manager to lead transaction projects and deliver integrated solutions tailored to clients’ needs, particularly in relation to transaction structuring, due diligence, financial and tax projections, and the review of tax clauses. Our work has a strong international dimension, involving international clients and close collaboration with teams from other areas and across the PwC global network.

Responsibilities:

• Lead tax advisory projects in a transaction context, ensuring technical quality, adherence to deadlines and the efficient coordination of the different teams involved;
• Manage relationships with national and international clients, understand their needs and deliver clear, pragmatic tax recommendations focused on value creation;
• Oversee tax structuring, due diligence, modelling and the review of tax clauses, while fostering coordination with other practices and international teams, developing junior professionals and identifying business opportunities.

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Economics, Law or a related field;
• Further qualifications or a specialization in taxation would be an advantage;
• At least five years of professional experience in tax advisory, preferably involving transactions, M&A or similar areas;
• Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English;
• Strong technical tax knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools;
• Experience in project management and in coordinating and developing teams, with the ability to set priorities and make decisions;
• Excellent communication skills, client focus, initiative, and the ability to build trusted relationships and identify business opportunities.
