Data AI Solution Architect

We're looking for an AI Solution Architect / AI Champion to join our team in Portugal in a fully remote working mode. In this role, you will support Bureau Veritas' European Regional Team in its strategic transformation toward an AI-native development model (AI SDLC). You will define AI solution architectures, configure AI-assisted development and testing environments, and implement agent-based workflows that enable progressive maturity adoption across software development cycles. This is a hands-on, high-impact role requiring expertise in generative AI architectures, development workflow integration, and developer enablement in enterprise Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture for AI solutions tailored to diverse software technology stacks.
• Configure AI development and testing environments including GitHub Copilot, AI coding assistants, and LLM tools under source control.
• Implement AI-native workflows and maintain version-controlled agent configurations, context files, and reusable workflows.
• Provide technical training sessions for development and QA teams on AI adoption in SDLC.
• Deploy and validate the first agent-based workflows within a Scrum-based real production environment.
• Document AI use cases, workflows, and best practices for cross-project reuse.
• Collaborate on creating technical recommendations to enable Level 2 and Level 3 AI maturity foundations.
• Work with program leads to refine AI adoption strategy aligned with enterprise goals and governance.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and implementing generative AI solution architectures.
• Hands-on expertise with AI-assisted development frameworks and agent-based automation (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar).
• Familiarity with configuring AI development aids (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLM-enhanced IDE plugins) under source control practices.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for continuous delivery pipelines.
• Ability to train cross-functional engineering teams on AI-native workflows and usage standards.
• Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills in complex technical environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale AI transformation programs or AI maturity frameworks.
• Knowledge of enterprise security and compliance for AI tool adoption.
• Background in setting up observability, governance, and evaluation standards for AI workflows.
• Familiarity with co-pilot tools benchmarking, and AI-assisted testing strategies.
