SHAPE THE FUTURE OF PRIVACY WITH USERCENTRICS

Usercentrics is a global leader in data privacy and privacy-led marketing solutions. We believe there is no need for a trade-off between growth and privacy compliance. Our vision is to unlock the potential of data privacy to empower a thriving digital ecosystem. We work with companies to create a healthy balance between data-driven business and privacy-led marketing for every size of enterprise. Our customers build trust with their users through improved transparency and control to drastically improve marketing and monetization, while achieving full privacy compliance.

About the Role

We're looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Social Media Manager to own Usercentrics' social presence. You'll turn our research, product news, and executive voices into content that builds awareness and trust with privacy, legal, marketing, and developer audiences. You'll plan and manage our content calendar, craft engaging copy, and work with internal teams to surface great stories, all with precision and personality. You'll also support light design tasks (or update existing templates in Canva or Figma) and ideally bring community management skills to help us deepen engagement with our audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute our organic social media strategy, with LinkedIn as the priority channel alongside other relevant platforms (e.g., Instagram, X, Facebook)
  • Manage a well-planned content calendar aligned with campaigns, launches, and brand priorities
  • Write compelling, on-brand copy tailored to each platform and audience, with an instinct for what works on LinkedIn
  • Coordinate social amplification for campaigns, research launches, events, and webinars
  • Support executive and employee advocacy programmes
  • Collaborate with internal teams (content, product, marketing, comms, design, video, HR) to surface great stories and relevant content
  • Source or create visual assets using Canva/Figma and work with design and video colleagues to keep posts visually engaging
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, DMs, and mentions, and help foster a growing, connected community
  • Run social listening and monitor social trends and platform updates to inform optimization and experimentation
  • Report regularly on performance, sentiment, and share of voice, and turn data into clear recommendations
  • Test formats and use data to improve reach, engagement, and conversion

Requirements — About You

  • 3–5 years of hands-on social media management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or tech and in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
  • Strong written and spoken English, with a feel for tone, nuance, and clarity
  • Hands-on experience with social management and listening tools; Brandwatch experience or similar brand monitoring tools will be highly regarded
  • Comfortable with analytics and turning data into recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills: you can juggle several campaigns and stakeholders at once and love a good content calendar
  • Familiarity with Canva and/or Figma; confident editing templates or creating basic visuals
  • Naturally curious and proactive, always on the lookout for content ideas and creative inspiration

Nice to Have

  • Experience with paid social, community building, or employee advocacy
  • Basic design or video editing skills
  • Familiarity with privacy, martech, or developer audiences
  • Experience with scheduling and analytics tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar

Don't meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Usercentrics we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
