This is a hybrid role based in Lisbon, suited to professionals with strong expertise in ReactJS and Next.js and solid experience designing scalable, maintainable web applications. You will contribute across frontend development, architecture, API integration, performance, documentation, and modern delivery practices. Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimise modern web applications using ReactJS and Next.js. Build responsive frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products. Contribute to frontend architectural decisions and the design of scalable, maintainable solutions. Integrate and consume REST APIs efficiently. Support CI/CD processes and contribute to improvements in development and delivery practices. Work with GitHub workflows and GitHub Actions as part of the development lifecycle. Produce and maintain clear technical documentation. Troubleshoot frontend issues and identify appropriate technical solutions. Proactively propose improvements across architecture, performance, maintainability, and development practices. Apply software engineering best practices to maintain consistent code quality and reliable user experiences across devices.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

5+ years of professional experience working with modern frontend technologies. Strong experience developing and maintaining applications using ReactJS and Next.js. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Experience designing scalable web architectures and frontend components. Solid understanding of REST APIs and frontend integration. Experience with Node.js and package managers such as npm and yarn. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Experience working with GitHub workflows and GitHub Actions. Strong command of Git for version control. Experience producing and maintaining technical documentation using tools such as Confluence. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills. High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and continuously develop technical knowledge. English proficiency at B2 level or above.

Nice to Have

Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms. Knowledge of GraphQL. Experience with Headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Strapi, Sanity, or Prismic. Experience optimising web performance, particularly Core Web Vitals.

Salary & Benefits

Gross annual salary: €26,000–€31,000, depending on experience and suitability for the role. Meal allowance. Flexible benefits package. Extra day off on your birthday.
