This role is suited to someone with strong experience across cloud data platforms, orchestration, distributed processing, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability, and event-driven architectures. Knowledge, Skills and Experience
5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering. Solid exposure to DevOps and Platform Engineering practices. Strong SQL and data modelling skills, including dimensional, normalised, and Lakehouse approaches. Strong proficiency in Python. Working knowledge of Scala, Java, or Go. Hands-on experience with data pipeline and orchestration tools such as Airflow and dbt. Experience with distributed processing frameworks such as Spark, Flink, or similar. Advanced AWS expertise, including Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, S3, Lambda, and Kinesis. Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI. Experience with Infrastructure as Code using technologies such as AWS CDK or CloudFormation. Experience with streaming and event-driven architectures using Kafka, Kinesis, Apache Flink, Pub/Sub, or similar technologies. Experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Amazon CloudWatch. Strong experience with data warehouse platforms such as Amazon Redshift and Snowflake.

Salary & Benefits
Gross annual salary: €29,000–€34,000, depending on experience and suitability for the role. Meal allowance. Flexible benefits package. Extra day off on your birthday.
