Quality Assurance Engineer - Software Security

Join Nokia's Optical Networks R&D team and contribute to the development of secure, high-performance networking solutions powering next-generation communication infrastructures. As part of an Agile Scrum team, you will help ensure security and quality are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Python. Execute functional and security testing, including authentication, authorization, API security, vulnerability validation, and robustness testing. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with developers, architects, and security specialists to support secure-by-design development. Contribute to DevSecOps initiatives, security automation, and AI-assisted testing approaches. Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. Experience with Python test automation. Knowledge of software security principles, Linux environments, and networking fundamentals. Understanding of security testing and secure development practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluent English. Nice to Have: DevSecOps experience. Security testing tools and automation frameworks. AI/ML applications in software quality or cybersecurity. Knowledge of optical networking technologies.
