Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) Unit

Founded in 2021, the Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) unit will be contributing to Airbus’ global success and play a vital role in Airbus’ transformation journey in standardisation, harmonisation, digitalisation and automation of end-to-end processes (e.g. Procure to Pay) of all overhead functions. Our target is that siloed ways of working / processes will be a relic of the past within the AGBS. Supply Chain Interface Coordination Team

The Supply Chain Interface Coordination Team acts as the interface between the purchasing organizations and the A320 final assembly lines in Hamburg and Toulouse. Our team is responsible for anticipating and preventing missing parts and maintains continuous contact with purchasing and logistics organizations across the entire Airbus group in Europe. Additionally, we oversee the shipping activities between Hamburg and the final assembly lines in Europe of all Airbus programs. In addition to daily operational tasks, we work on improving our processes and ways of working.

The dynamic team consists of approximately 15 employees with a healthy mix of young and experienced individuals who support each other. A positive work atmosphere is of great importance to us. For this position we are looking for a strong profile with great stakeholder management skills with a positive mind-set and can-do attitude.

Responsibilities - your mission

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Key is the communication with supply organizations and internal stakeholders (supply management, production interfaces, logistics coordinators, warehouse operators).
  • Anticipating missing parts through analysis and support from tools, taking necessary actions to ensure that on-dock dates align with aircraft production schedules, and managing priorities.
  • Coordinating lead times in collaboration with Airbus procurement and Airbus plants to meet production requirements.
  • Initiating required activities and taking responsibility within the supply chain to accelerate material flows, ensuring material availability by the required date.
  • Using Airbus ERP System (SAP PDA/PGI/PEA), maintaining up-to-date master data, and utilizing other specific tools.
  • Proposing and initiate corrective actions to improve supply chain flows.
