We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle ECE and OCOMC Expert to strengthen our charging and billing operations and empower our charging & billing team.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle’s charging and mediation platforms, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical training for non‑technical billing staff. This role bridges IT and business operations, ensuring accurate, scalable, and efficient handling of large volumes of usage events and billing data, in real time, providing team the technical knowledge and skills to manage and monitoring OCS in a way that delivers high levels of service availability to our customers with high level of accuracy in usage events rating, earning from our customers their trust and confidence in the service 1GLOBAL provide them.
This role positions the expert as both a technical authority in Oracle ECE / OCOMC and a trainer who empowers the billing team to handle large volumes of usage events effectively and securely.
Act as the subject matter expert on Oracle ECE (real‑time rating and charging) and OCOMC (offline charging mediation), with special focus on the following areas: - Network integration (Diameter protocol) - ECE customization - Monitoring
Configure, optimize, and maintain the charging system for high‑volume usage events. Ensure seamless integration between charging, mediation, and billing systems.
Participate in the design and implementation of complex business and technical requirements, ensuring robustness, scalability, and alignment with Oracle’s best practices.
Contribute to capacity planning, performance tuning, and platform evolution to keep the system resilient and cost-efficient as the business scales.
Develop and deliver structured training programs for the billing team, focusing on maintenance, operation, and monitoring of ECE and OCOMC.
Create clear documentation, guides, and best practices tailored to billing operations.
Conduct workshops and hands‑on sessions to build confidence in analyzing event‑level data.
Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations to streamline billing workflows.
Provide guidance on troubleshooting discrepancies in rated events, mediation records, and invoices.
Recommend improvements to reporting and data access, including the use of replicated databases for secure read‑only queries.
Help in improve monitoring tools and methodology (knowledge on integration and development of monitoring tools in Grafana, Prometheus, Loki is a must)
