As our operations continue to expand across Europe, we are seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our growing team in Sines, Portugal and play a key role in the successful delivery of mission-critical infrastructure projects.

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will play a key role in the coordination and management of all site logistics activities, ensuring the safe, efficient, and organised flow of materials across the project. Working closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams, you will oversee delivery scheduling, compound management, storage allocation, and labour coordination while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the compound for all available storage areas on site.
• Booking and coordination of delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure their understanding of locations for all deliveries from off-site storage facility to the site in a safe manner and follow all instructions.
• Maintain good organisational skills to ensure deliveries are coming to site in an orderly manner.
• Attend pre-start meetings with subcontractors to ensure they have full understanding of the challenges on-site, storage space and locations and booking of deliveries through the Datascope system.
• Encourage all contractors to adopt a 'just in time' approach to each delivery and ensure all deliveries are complete.
• Prevent congestion and blockage of site roads, all loading and unloading of works-related vehicles must be within the compound.
• Manage operatives to ensure the correct duties and responsibilities of health & safety and work ethics are being followed.
• Record and trace labour allocation and work reports.
