H&S Technician (O&M)

We are looking for a H&S Technician to work based on our Venda do Pinheiro Office

What You'll Do

• Be the HSE reference for Greenvolt Next's Operations & Maintenance activities, ensuring safe and compliant operations across our portfolio.
• Spend most of your time in the field, supporting teams and contractors in managing critical risks.
• Drive safety excellence in photovoltaic installations, with a focus on electrical safety, work at height, and contractor management.
• Perform site inspections, audits, safety walks, and incident investigations to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver training and awareness initiatives that strengthen our safety culture.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with HSE standards and legislation.
• Support the implementation of corporate HSE programmes, procedures, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Health & Safety roles within industrial, construction, energy, or renewable energy environments.
• Solid knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices applicable to Operations & Maintenance activities.
• Experience in managing high-risk activities, particularly work at height and electrical works.
• Previous experience in photovoltaic, electrical, or industrial maintenance environments is highly valued.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and implement practical solutions.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, incident investigations, and training activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Availability to travel regularly across Portugal.
• Fluency in Portuguese and a good command of English.
