What you'll be doing
- Monitoring sanction regulatory changes and assessing their impact
- Drafting, maintaining and updating FinCrime policies related to sanctions and terrorism financing
- Overseeing the sanction screening framework, notably tool parameters
- Advising on complex sanction cases and reporting to authorities
- Contributing to the internal control framework, including risk assessments, control design, indicators, incidents, recommendations
- Offering 2LoD support to the business and 1LoD FinCrime teams with the launch of products, procedures, processes, and systems
- Supporting FinCrime training for employees
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in FinCrime (sanctions and/or terrorism financing), covering a range of retail and business customers
- An understanding of innovative financial services products (crypto, buy now-pay later, etc.) and associated financial crime risks
- Expertise in sanctions regulations and communications with authorities
- Knowledge of sanction screening tools
- An understanding of industry-wide financial crime practices and trends
- Exposure to the French sanctions regime
- Expertise in identifying financial crime risks and potential vulnerabilities, and advising on best practices to address those findings
- A track record of stakeholder management, and the ability to collaborate, negotiate, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Fluency in English
Nice to have
- A professional qualification from an internationally recognised body (e.g., ICA, ACAMS)
- Fluency in French
