The role - Database Administrator

As a Database Administrator, you will ensure the availability, performance and reliability of our database and IT service environments and contribute to the operation and continuous improvement of our IT service delivery landscape.

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Work closely with infrastructure, application, and development teams to ensure end-to-end service quality
• Participate in monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning activities using enterprise tools (e.g., Splunk)
• Contribute to automation, operational excellence, and cloud transformation initiatives
• Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and proactive monitoring of critical services
• Assist with not only database-related topics but also broader infrastructure and service operations activities.
