Customer Service/Post-Sales Service – Temporary

About the Role

We are looking for a Customer Service/Post-Sales Service to join our team on a temporary basis. The role focuses on managing post-sales claims from retail customers, manufacturers and internal teams to investigate discrepancies and drive claims through to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve post-sales claims submitted by retail customers.
• Investigate claims by analysing financial and transactional information.
• Use Excel to reconcile data, identify discrepancies and support investigations.
• Work closely with retail customers and manufacturers/vendors to validate claims and reach resolutions.
• Communicate clearly and professionally throughout the claim process, including when handling disputed cases.
• Follow up on outstanding cases and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records and identify recurring issues or opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales and other teams to resolve complex cases.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in Finance Operations, Claims, Commercial Operations, Customer Service or a similar role.
• Good financial acumen.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Comfortable dealing with both customers and external partners.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple cases and priorities.

Requirements

• Experience with billing and credit processes and customer claims.
• Experience working with manufacturers/vendors.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Outlook.
• CRM tools.
