Financial Services Risk & Regulation Department

To support national financial institutions, PwC created the Financial Services Risk & Regulation department in January 2015. Due to its characteristics, this department is particularly well-equipped to assist financial institutions in developing and implementing internal governance structures and mechanisms, evaluating and implementing integrated risk management solutions—including advanced credit risk management models—as well as designing recovery and resolution plans. This unit is also highly capable of supporting the implementation of prudential regulation and identifying opportunities for improvement in this area.

PwC’s Financial Services Risk & Regulation department offers you the opportunity to participate in technically challenging projects in the banking sector, allowing you to develop business-oriented solutions aimed at better organization, measurement, and monitoring of the main risks and challenges faced by banks.

Responsibilities

• Implementation/review of capital requirements (CRR3) in financial institutions
• Optimization of regulatory capital calculation
• Implementation/review of risk quantification models within the ICAAP framework
• Monitoring of key market trends and regulatory developments under Basel

Desired Profile

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the financial sector, preferably in roles related to regulatory and economic capital calculation (Basel Pillars I and II)
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Management, Finance, or Economics
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (MS Excel; MS PowerPoint)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
